Located right in the midst of some of the United Kingdom's most beautiful and unspoiled countryside, New Mills is a Berwick Holiday Cottage only three miles from England's northernmost town.

A mere 500 yards from Scotland's border, not only is New Mills in the enviable position of having the best bits of both Scotland and England only minutes from the doorstep, but those who find themselves lodged in this lovely Berwick Holiday Cottage will enjoy the kind of picturesque views and seclusion which come from being situated in 19 acres of private land.

New Mills is complimented by views of the gentle waters of the River Whiteadder. Naturally, being right on the Scottish border, there are some great places to visit. Renowned golf courses can be found nearby and Edinburgh is only a 45 minute train ride away.
The house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in four bedrooms. The first floor has a double and a twin bedroom as well as a reading area on the landing. The top floor has two more bedrooms, both double.

Ideally set-up for self-catering trips, the ground floor has everything you need to relax and prepare meals. There are entrance halls at the front and rear of the house, a lounge, dining room and a lovely breakfast room just off the kitchen. While the main bathroom with its roll top bath and shower can be found on the mezzanine level, there is another W/C with shower on the ground floor.

Rates range from £500 per week in low season to £650 per week during high season, except over the Christmas and New Year period when the rate is £800. Arrival time is 4pm and departure 10am, unless other arrangements have been agreed on. Please be aware that there is £100 deposit, required on confirmation of booking.
This deposit will be returned at the end of the let and is to be considered separate from payment, not deductible. Full payments are expected up front.

There is a cancellation fee effective 1 week prior to the date of the let unless the house can be re-let for the same period. Well behaved pets are most welcome.
