Patricia and Philip Miller invite you to come and share the gorgeous surroundings of their delightful home, Castle Hills House, near Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland.
With spectacular river views, and a tranquil setting, the self catering apartment at Castle Hills House is a sublimely relaxing place from which to discover the many fascinating locations in the area:
Including, the Elizabethan battlements in Berwick, the holy island of Lindisfarne which is the birthplace of Christianity in England, Alnwick Castle where Harry Potter was filmed, Alnwick Garden which has the largest tree house in Europe, plus stately homes such as Paxton House, and Cragside.
The recently refurbished self-catering apartment located with in Castle Hills House has spectacular panoramic views of the river and the famous Berwick bridges, and has been superbly decorated in a traditional period style for relaxing holidays, with all the comforts of home.
The apartment has three bedrooms, two of which are doubles, and one a single: One of the double rooms even has a beautiful four-poster bed, perfect for romantic getaways! There is also a sitting room, complete with a TV and Freeview, plus DVD's, books and games.
The lovely farmhouse style kitchen has everything you need to create delicious meals, plus there are two luxurious bathrooms. When you arrive at the apartment you will be greeted warmly and shown to your accommodation. Inside you will find a courteous complimentary selection of fine local produce, and details of where to procure it from.
Patricia and Philip take great care to make sure that their guests are happy and comfortable, so if you require their help during your stay, they are always happy to oblige.
There is ample parking for guest's cars, and the gardens have simply stunning views of the countryside and river Tweed.
Naturally families with well-behaved children are always welcomed, however the Millers cats and peacocks refuse to allow dogs on the premises. Visitors are reminded that he house and gardens are non-smoking throughout.
