| The charming village of Ancroft, is the setting for Ancroft Manor, a six bedroom self catering holiday home. In rolling countryside, yet only seven miles from the historic market town of Berwick, it is ideally located two miles off the A1.

With a four star rating Ancroft Manor has its own gated grounds with private parking. Dating to the 1700's, traditional elegance combines with modern standards, for an intimate retreat, family holiday, or a group get together.

This traditional farm house has six generous warm bedrooms. The master bedroom can be used as a family suite, having access to a twin room and en-suite shower room. There are a further four bedrooms, two twin and two doubles. Two bathrooms each with large ceramic baths, and hand held showers, perfect for relaxing.

With a large south facing kitchen, oil fired central heating, four oven Aga, new electric cooker, dish washer & freezer, and a glorious dining room for 12.

The sitting room has a TV with DVD's and Freeview, a selection of books, games, and CD player. The drawing room also has an open fire.

Outside a large grass play space which is Ideal for children and up to 2 dogs, is overlooked by a dining area with gas BBQ. A lockable outside store provides space for all your holiday equipment.

You'll find flowers, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival and all towels and linens provided. Use of the Aga must be booked and paid in advance, and is charged at £10 per day. You'll find a supply of logs and coal, extras subsequently charged at £25 for logs and £15 for coal. Dogs are required to be on a lead, and not permitted beyond the TV room.
